Volunteering Gloucestershire receives more than 1,000 enquiries from people wanting to volunteer each year from a wide cross-section of the community with diverse interests and skills to offer.
This service is part-funded by Gloucestershire County Council to encourage volunteering that supports the Council’s priorities. With the County Council’s support, we can promote your volunteering opportunities if the volunteers will be:
• Involved in work within the following postcode areas:
Cheltenham: GL51, GL52, GL53, GL54
Forest of Dean: GL14, GL15, GL17
Gloucester: GL1, GL2, GL4
Stroud: GL5, GL6, GL10, GL11
Tewkesbury: GL3, GL20
• Working in the health and social care sector, including providing community transport
• Volunteering in one of the County Council’s Big Community Offer initiatives
• Supporting ICT skills development for people claiming welfare benefits
And, if your organisation doesn’t meet these criteria, don’t worry because, as long as you are a full member of GAVCA or Third Sector Services, you can still use this free service, as well as access many other Member benefits.
