Bringing Volunteers and Charities Together in Gloucestershire

We work with charities and other non-profits to help them recruit the wonderful people who come to us looking for volunteer roles.  It's not just charity shops and gardening - we've loads of "people helping people" roles too!
There are several ways to find volunteer opportunities through us:

What do you want to do?

Our service is mainly run by volunteers, so it is unfortunately not always possible to meet someone to talk to. Please look through the search facility 'Find your volunteering opportunity' to see what is available.

Important note for professionals thinking of making a referral  - please see here

Find your volunteering opportunity

Use the tool below to find a volunteer role that interests you. There are lots different roles in different locations, working for different charities, in different fields. Search by location or area of interest. Keep an open mind and you might find something that you hadn't previously thought of!

Volunteering is for everyone who wants it!

We work with charities and community groups to make volunteering available to as many people as possible. Here's some more detail:

Use the search facility to find an opportunity that interests you. The system should be self-explanatory.

We feel strongly that people offering to volunteer deserve a great service. We ask that normally recruiters respond to applications within 7 days and suggest that potential volunteers chase up after 14.

We aim to check with both recruiters and volunteers at four months to help us know how many volunteers we have successfully placed.

We are currently reviewing the service we can provide to charities looking for volunteers.

Charities can post their own opportunities on Do It - a search facility listing a huge variety or roles in all types of organisations - or we may be able to provide this service on behalf of different charities.

Your advert is live on our system for 6 months (unless you have an earlier "closing date") and we aim to email you a couple of months before the end to check before renewing for another 6 months.
